The location was easy to access and find. Accessing the apartment was easy because all the doors were left unlocked and keys left on the kitchen table (though this was a bit worrying given how busy the area is). There was plenty of space.
Athlone is a lovely place to go for a weekend away.

We loved the Church of St.
We loved the Church of St. Peter and Paul - they feature vivid and colourful stained glass windows made by Harry Clarke. We were in there for way longer than we anticipated, the art was so detailed and interesting. We found handy parking round the back of the castle, but it was February and was quiet so no problems there.

It was a very friendly town, with many pubs, cafe's and restaurants.
Sean's Bar had a very good live music duo. We ate at The Fatted Cow, which served excellant food in a professional and friendly atmosphere. The town itself was easy to get around with good transport links to other towns and cities. It was a good place to be based at.

Front desk customer service was absolutely brilliant.
Front desk customer service was absolutely brilliant. THANKS to Eric the man is a legend. Good staff everywhere. Room was little hot but that was the weather we were having. ROOM was excellent Breakfast and a swim in the pool to it off .Thank-you one and all
The location and privacy of the room was more than adequate for the time that I had spent in the room. The location was similar to where I had stayed in the last time that I had been in Athlone, and is very central to the town. While my standards for walkability are wildly different than most people's (I wouldn't decline a walking trip to Roscommon, for example), I felt like the town as a whole had a very accessible vibe and the location of this hotel was very conducive to that ideal.
The room we chose was huge, two twin beds with a wall separating from a Queen size bed. The room was clean and fairly quiet. The showers were good with plenty of hot water and a huge bathroom with separate tub. Tons of breakfast options (this costs extra and unfortunately all the gluten free options were out by the time we got down to eat).
Amazing location just a short walk from Sean's Bar which is an Athlone must see!
First off, let me say the hosts were very warm and welcoming. Their property is charming and very lovely.
There is parking on the property and lovely views from the windows.
My room was comfortable and had a private bath.
Breakfast was huge…. Had a traditional Irish breakfast that was beautifully served.
I would recommend Moynure if you are looking for something charming and more personal than a hotel chain.
The receptionists was friendly and greeted me and my family warmly, we had dinner all the nights we stayed and every night the meals was exceptional and the added bonus parking at the hotel was FREE and in the area was a grocery, cafe, pharmacy and fast food place it was perfect for us. The rooms was clean and comfortable and the cleaning staff was so nice.
In the heart of Athlone with parking included. Comfortable rooms ( not finished to high standards decor wise but clean and comfortable). Breafast was Full Irish with also cereals, fruit salad and juices on offer. Friendly welcoming staff. Hotel is a fantastic rate b&b I will definitely stay again.
The room was large spacious twin room. Very Clean and excellent views.

love this hotel. we have stayed here numerous times and always had a amazing time. The hotel is located in such a perfect area close to all the shops, banks and cafés. Staff are amazing so helpful and friendly. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room and bed were very comfortable, leisure complex was so relaxing. The Viking tours boat leaves from the pier just outside the hotel and a round trip to Athlone town was €15, this trip was fantastic.
Great stay, the owner is really one of a kind person that helps you in each requests and it is a pleasure to talk with.
The hotel and the breakfast are a real taste of Ireland, super recommended for a trip in Athlone!
It was so dreamy & dog friendly. The golf course should win an award or be on the top 10 golf course of Ireland. The resort itself was absolutely perfect in so many ways. Our family will be back.
The apartments are lovely and in a convenient location in the centre of Athlone. The staff are incredibly helpful with anything that you want to organise. Would highly recommend staying here.
