    Bijeljina can give you a short holiday.

    Bijeljina can give you a short holiday. There are few interesting places, Etno selo Stanišić being the first. Not much of history, but you can have a nice time walking through Etno selo, with quite nice hotel with swimming pool and spa area. Try to avoid big holidays, it can get crowded. There are shopping malls all over, so you do your shopping, while kids are in the game room (Bingo etc). Bingo pizza was great.

    Bijeljina is a small town near the border with Serbia.

    Bijeljina is a small town near the border with Serbia. There were a few nice restaurants and cafes. It was quite pleasant but it is not somewhere I would visit if I hadn't been trying to cross the border.

    Bijelina has very nice monastery and Etno selo very near to the River hotel with very interesting houses and places with attractions is very nice for weeknd time The city is nice with good people but like alwyas the parking is very dificult The food in the area is very good and testy

    There isn't a ton to do, but it makes for a great overnight...

    There isn't a ton to do, but it makes for a great overnight stay. Best restaurant in my opinion is Restorn Gurman. Super walkable city, I didn't need any transportation other than arriving to/leaving Bijeljina. There's a beautiful monastery called Crkva Svete Petke with a coffeehouse nearby that are both worth visiting. If you are leaving from the Bijeljina bus station, then do be aware that there's a small fee you have to pay the bus station prior to getting on your bus (I believe 1,50 Bosnian convertible marks which is 0,75€).
