A small town in East Finland that has some good restaurants and local coffee shops but there is not much to do. The town is not touristic and there are not that many places to visit. However, the Botanical gardens are interesting and the Joensuu church is also worth visiting.

Majority of inhabitants in Joensuu goes around by bicycles. I did enjoyed going around by bike. So many nice places to visit. So many good restaurants. It is a good place to visit with a family or group of friends.

With a nice small kitchen and bathroom. It was super clean and not noisy at all. The sauna was nice too. It got more the feeling of a hotel than of a hostel. I can highly recommend a stay there. I had to leave early in the morning and they brought me a breakfast the day before to me room. It was more variety than I expected. Super kind of them!! I will definitely stay there again! :)

Close to the shopping centre and the railways ration is 5 minutes away. Rooms are always clean, bathrooms are super duper. Modern and comfortable. Extra bedding and pillows are available on request. Towels plenty. Lift from ground floor. Breakfast is excellent. Variety of hot and cold food. Drinks, yoghurt and cereal, fruit you name it. Stayed in this hotel several times and will not hesitate to book it again! 😊

It's on the top floors of an office building, which is not a charming environment, but the rooms were clean and big. It had AC with a control panel in the room, but apparently the system could not cope with the heat wave and regardless of the setting, the desired temperature was 4 hrs away. Still, it was 25 deg C inside while it was 30 C outside - a considerable improvement. Quiet, modern hotel.
